During the application process, the trademark office examines the trademark application based on the absolute and relative grounds, no matter the application is filed domestically or by Madrid system.

If the Trademark Office finds out obstacles for the application, it will issue a notification of Office Action.

The applicant should respond to the Office Action within the prescribed period, otherwise it will lead to the failure of registration.
